Outdoor speakers needed!
We’re building a stage for the kids to sing and practice street dance. We’re short of a couple of outdoor speakers. Can you help?
We still need compost, plants, etc.
We still need plants, soil, seeds, bulbs and some chain for hanging baskets. If you are anywhere within a reasonable distance from us here at E16 and willing to donate, please get in touch! We can arrange to pick things up or you can pop down and bring stuff directly to us (but we might rope you in to help if you do the latter… ;) ).

Brewers paints, Growing Concerns for donating supplies for this weekend’s project! You are WONDERFUL! We still need a bunch of materials (see previous post) so if any individuals or companies wish to participate, here’s your chance!
This is what we still need - can you help?
- Before we can start building tomorrow, we still need:
- Masonry paint, brushes, rollers & trays, metal paint, white spirit, primer, spray paint, wall glaze, fairy lights and/or lanterns, blackboard paint, wooden benches (or wood we can make them from), chalk, compost, water butt, shade-loving plants and flowers, veg seeds, bulbs, trowels, pitchforks, brooms, hanging baskets, lino, vinyl, lino... and snacks for the weekend (as we're having a big party on the Sunday to celebrate!)
- Can you help? Would you be willing to donate any of these things?

The Oasis Game is LIVE
We’ve spent the last three months getting ready for next week! After the Bank Holiday weekend North Woolwich, Newham will play host to the UK’s first ever Oasis Game. Scroll down and see the video of when this game was played in Brazil or check out Lush’s (our kind sweet-smelling partners) blog about the project.
From Tuesday 28th until Friday 31st you can follow our training on this blog, our facebook, twitter and also#oasisnewham.
But most important - join us in the community on the weekend 1st and 2nd September - from 9.30am to 6pm (drop in any time or stay both days!) at the Asta Community Centre, 14a Camel Road, E16 2DE - to play the Oasis Game and create a dream for North Woolwich, Newham!
